Program Goals
The Beachscape program is an important initiative for Rhode Island Surfrider, as it helps to monitor and identify patterns affecting the state's coastline. The goals for Rhode Island Surfrider Foundation’s Beachscape Program are to:
• Collect data annually
• Compile information to identify issues threatening Rhode Island's coastline
• Use data to support chapter initiatives/campaigns and for educational purposes
